Freeware MIDI-file Format Converter

Most of our files come as Format 0, so all events are in one track. If you would prefer the file split up into it's individual instruments, you can use this converter. Likewise if you have a format 1 file but would prefer it in format 0 so that your keyboard can read it from disk, you can also use this utility. Any lyric information is left intact and you can also save MIDI-files in the popular .KAR format. The limitation is that the file name can have no more than 8 letters - so you may have to rename the file if you are using long file names.
